On the Importance of Snack Breaks
They say "just one more game" but baby, your blood sugar says otherwise.
I know the zone. I've been in the zone. The zone is beautiful โ that flow state where hours feel like minutes and your performance peaks like you've unlocked some hidden potential.
But here's the truth they don't tell you: the zone has a timer, and that timer is your last meal.
I've watched the greatest players crumble not because they lost skill, but because they forgot to eat. The hands start shaking. The reactions slow. The decisions get worse. And suddenly you're wondering why you can't hit shots you were landing an hour ago.
The answer is in your empty stomach, sweetheart.
So here's my rule: every two hours, you pause. Not forever. Just long enough to eat something. Drink some water. Remember that you're not just a brain piloting a pair of hands โ you're a whole organism that needs fuel.
Almonds. Fruit. That weird cheese your roommate left in the fridge. Something. Anything. Your gameplay will thank you.
Snacking with intention,

P.S. Gamer fuel is not a substitute for real food. I love you, but you need vegetables. Actual vegetables. The green things.
